just wanted to notify the SIMS community (as many people as I have emails for anyway) that new 4.3a version of SIMS has been released and is available for download.
 
This version contains many updates and new capabilities.  The most significant updates address the changes made to the CAPR 52-16 dated 01-Oct-06.
 
You can download this new version from the SquadronCommand website at:

I have made release notes available for anyone who is interested in what has been added to SIMS since the release you may be running on.
 
The SIMS Users Guide will be updated within the next few weeks to reflect the recent changes to the application.
 
This new version will install into the C:\SIMS folder on your local computer and will not overwrite any SIMS files you may be running in the C:\CAP\Database folder.
