Everyone has probably received the info that Group 3 and Group 8 are merging.  The Group 3 Commander, Major David Leach, accepted a new positon as the FLWG Chief of Staff effective 01 February 2009.  The Group 8 Commander, Major Rod Miles, assumed interim command of Group 3 on 01 February 2009 and remains in command of Group 8.  Once the merger is complete, the Group 8 Charter will be retired and Major Miles will remain as the Group Commander of the new Group 3.
