All, Please review the email below in regards to our disaster relief and preparedness missions. Living in Florida we are all too aware of the devastation and disruptions that can occur due to adverse weather and especially during hurricane season. That season is upon us now and we must maintain our vigilance and be prepared to assist our fellow community members in these times of needs, should they arise.
If you are able to serve as a member of the air or ground RECON teams, and are able to meet the requirements that 1st Lt Leidy has advised, then I encourage and applaud you to do so. There is no greater feeling than that when you help someone who is desperately in need. In your email of interest to Maj Stradely, please copy your squadron’s Emergency Services Officer, the Group 3 ES Training Officer, MSgt Scott Jung, and the Group 3 ES Officer/SAR Officer, 1st Lt Leviton. Their email addresses are listed in the “cc:” field.
Also, while we are speaking of disaster relief, Group 3 is on need of a DR Officer. If you believe you may be able to fill this position, please contact me at your earliest convenience.
I thank you all for your time, your dedication, and your selflessness.
