AJ Ferrell Middle School Cadet Squadron
held a mission basics bivouac at the Masonic Park in December. The bivouac was to help their cadets get familiar with what is required during a bivouac. Cadets recieved instruction on food selection and preparation, Bivouac safety and planning and much more. All cadets were required to provide their own food and shelter for the event. This included tent set-up, food preparation, tear down and more. This event also introduced them to some of the fundamentals of Emergency Services in CAP and they also recieved their BCUT training. |
